Care Instructions
Care Instructions
To maintain the delicate weave of the Kota Doria and ensure the longevity of the hand-block prints:
Washing: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild liquid detergent formulated for delicate clothes, or opt for professional dry cleaning. Avoid harsh rubbing, wringing, or squeezing roughly.
First Wash Care: Wash separately for the initial few laundering cycles, as genuine artisan indigo and hand-blocked dyes may release minor excess color safely without altering the design.
Drying: Turn the fabrics inside out and line dry in the shade, completely away from direct sunlight to preserve the deep blue color intensity.
Ironing: Iron on a low-to-medium setting on the reverse side only, preferably with a protective cloth layered on top to safeguard the delicate checkered Kota weave structure.
